Cette incantation qui ouvre le 1er album « Make it happen » (sortie le 15 mai 2020) en est aussi le 1er extrait.
Dans ce single, Hawa Sow & The Soul Seeders nous enjoignent à ne jamais abandonner, ils nous disent simplement : « Keep loving and believing in the light of love ».

Et cette lumière éclate à l’arrivée du riff de guitare aussi entêtant que ce « Never givin’ up » qu’on ne peut s’empêcher de reprendre.
Chahuté par les cuivres tantôt acides, tantôt bouillonnants, le leitmotiv « Never givin’ up » soutenu par une rythmique répétitive et énergique, est un hymne qui germe comme une véritable graine de Soul.
